Actually Enhancement is doing well at the moment in the TWW beta testing. In the last week it scored in the top half of all dps against three different boss types. It did well in AoE, Cleave, and Single Target scenarios. Once they nerf the OP specs, Enhance should be in a great place.

They need to rework it like ret paladin. Have talents that combine spells and reduce button bloat

Swap side prim wave ascendance / diminish the 2 point talent/ swap guidance and spirit place / if pal keep his range enhancement get it as well we are a battlemage / make Dooms wind off gcd / rework the def

less button bloat. give enhance its own spenders besides lb and cl. get rid of ramp with dumb prim wave. there

I believe I found a new build that seems to work pretty well for stormbringer....NO wolves build....hear me out because of rolling thunder you get free feral spirit wolves that boost nature damage for free, which means you can take all 3 capstones now. Get lava lash and the 2 point node after it to spread flame shocks then get pw capstone and dre capstone. Don't pick up feral wolves at all. You start by spreading flame shocks then pw into lightning bolt, then go into your rotation you will get tons of tempest procs and wolves for free and extra lightning damage from both sides of your tree

Great ideas with the 2 points down to 1. My only remaining issue is the scaling on storm builds. Elementalist build I feel is complete and perfect to play. However storm has 1 major issue and that is scaling. Ele scales with every stat while storm does not scale well with mastery. IMO they should just make stormstrike do STORMSTRIKE damage. Yeah stormstrike baseline would need a nerf to balance out the initial compensation but then it would actually scale through the expansion. The reset chance is not scaling... On that note the windfury proc chance on a late expansion shaman should also be higher. Thats all! I wish they would bring back glyph of ascendance too qq. Current ascendance looks like fucking shite!

I would say Enhancement needs 2 different builds to give it diversity. One is to give Windfury to both weapons and focus on procs from dropping totems. I would like the build up procs as well so I would like more earth spell procs and ice support. The other path should be a fire-based style with ice support that would allow you to drop slow totems and stun totems more often while also calling forth fire-wolves that will proc up to 5 and increased duration.

Elemental and Resto both have access to Ascendance AND DRE, why not us? Would it really break us to have both?

Wishlist from a pvp perspective: Range of strikes 15 yards Flurry baseline Doomwinds off the gcd Astral shift usable while stunned, shorter cd and 2 charges like hunters now have Squish all the lava lash talents to either 1 point nodes or put some of them together Hailstorm should not be dependant of lava lash, just maeltrom spendage, so I can use it in a lightning build If we could wish for bigger changes, make enhancement more of a earth and lightning centric theme instead of fire. How about buff everything else up and not make you into a chain lightning spamming machine while trying to see how many wolves we can summon to juice our 3 button spam of chain lightning, crash lightning, and tempest once we get procs to summon another wolf to do more chain lightning damage in a loop....

enha will be sht in TWW and I will not even play it (not even as alt),... Main since tbc, started to go down the river with LL as our main dmg ability, and what is going to be in TWW made me completely choose another classes/specs

remove primordial wave stop making class sets for it and buff it all around id liek to see chain harvest back but thats not happening.

Totemic is a hero tree that IMO requires a counterintuitive unorthodox spec build. You have to forget the notion of storm build vs elementalist build. What I came up with is acceptable to me but people locked in to DF style shamie aren't going to like it. No crash lightning, sundering, primordial, ice strike/hailstorm, no lots of stuff. Just maelstrom generators (more wolves) and things that reduce CD/refresh of stormstrike and lava lash. The tree just barely allows it. Even then one of the motes of the totemic capstone will always be wasted, arguably the most powerful one, but I have found many of the classes I want to play have a dead pr partially dead hero talent considering the way I want to build and play them. The problem with enhance IMO is that for half of DF the entire spec was based around the 4pc tier set bonus and season 1 of TWW is the same. I can almost guarantee the season 2 4pc enhance bonus will be based around making ascendance OP. This is just lazy design. I don't think blizz cares about enhance's design so long as it does decent DPS, this combined with the survival buffs in the general tree (earth shield charges heal for alot more for ex, and others) make a compelling argument for doing nothing with the spec but throwing out OP 4pc set bonuses from the devs point of view. Because TBH I don't think they even know what to do with enhance from a design perspective. Maybe Thrall switching to fury is Freudian?

as an MM main, and also an enchancement enjoyers (i suck at it but damn it is fun to play) i feel terrible for our mail brothers, chaman is one of the core classes of the game and the way blizzard have forgotten them is criminal, at least Elemental got some love but enchancement need a whole ret pally treatment

Honest question: what does Enhancement bring to a raid now that no other spec already does better? I'm genuinely curious. Warriors bring raid buff and execute, DHs bring +5% magic dmg and insane survivability, Paladins are just lol they have everything, DK also strong survivability and grip can be bonkers useful, Monks are also utility gods as just ROP justifies their spot on its own (+5% phys dmg btw), Rogues bring -3% boss dmg and cloak soaks and execute and survivability. What's left is SV hunter and ferals who might get brought on for one boss per tier MAYBE. It's so sad that Enhancement is just gonna be another skeleton in the closet. And this is not even talking about how irrelevant we're gonna be in TWW S1 M+ considering how S4 of DF panned out for us... Edit: Fire Nova dead talent, Ascendance dead talent, Converging Storms dead talent, Totemic schizophrenic in design.

Blizzard literally said they aren't done with Shaman changes. 100% chance Enhance gets another pass and they cut down (or out) all the 2-point nodes.

The core gameplay is good, but hero talents really highlighted the problems with enhance spec tree. It's fun, but it could be awesome, if they reduced 2 point nodes and added in things such as the current s3 df enhance set, but working based on msw generated rather than wolves. Etc etc...

i loved to play enhancer in Shadowlands. I was optimistic for DF but hated DF Enhancer. I had hope TWW would be better but it seemed that tww will be worse :(

They literally have broken the Totemic build, they removed Windfury totem and forgot that Totemic uses it so now its unplayable lmfaooooo
